Holiday Food Drive Concert at The Union Market & Gallery Coming Saturday November 16th.

Join Us for a Healing Evening of Music, Poetry, and Community Support

This holiday season, let's come together as a community to support one another and heal through the power of music. Soup Can Magazine is hosting a special Holiday Food Drive Concert at The Union Market & Gallery in Tuckerton, partnering with local organizers and social workers right here in Ocean County. Your presence will make all the difference.


Featuring Live Performances By:

  • Padraic's Joy - the introspective singer/songwriter project of acclaimed musician Jules Murtha

  • Miah Worthy - soulful vocals and a powerful performance, recently rocked Tuckerton PorchFest

  • Sykes Hartmann - singing bowl spoken word poet, formerly of the Jersey Shore Poetry Slam team

  • Michael Sicola - Blues musician and lead guitarist of The Later Daze Blues Band

  • Keith Simmonds - veteran spoken word poet, also formerly of the Jersey Shore Poetry Slam team

  • MI the Battle Poet - will poetically fight somebody; has his own t-shirts

  • Todd Evans - The legendary New Jersey poet, host of Freedom Friday at the Trenton City Museum

  • Plus + surprise special guests


🕕 Event Details:

  • Date & Time: 6pm at The Union Market & Gallery, Tuckerton Seaport

  • Admission: Donations of non-perishable food items / $5 food/drink minimum at The Union Market


Most Needed Food Items:

  • Pull Tab/Pop Top canned goods - Cans that do not require a can opener

  • Pouches of ready to eat meals - Tasty Bite/Vana Life Foods

  • Granola bars/energy bars

  • Jelly/Jam

  • Crackers

  • Packages of nuts/trail mix/dried fruit


Most Needed Non-Food Items:

  • Thermals: Men Sizes Lg. & XL / Women Sizes Lg. & XL

  • Socks

  • Gloves

  • Hats

  • Handwarmers

  • Sleeping Bags

  • Tents

  • Suitcases
